30th April – 13th May 2026 – Art with Purpose, Level 5 Gallery, St Andrews Building, 11 Eldon St, Glasgow G3 6NH. This exhibition showcases the fantastic work of the students in New College Lanarkshire’s Art Club. It follows on from the Waste Stories exhibition held two years ago in the Mitchell Library and then again in the St Andrews Building gallery. The exhibition is free and open to the public between the hours of 8am and 7pm, Monday-Saturday. See the attached poster for more details.

16th -30th August 2024 – An expanded exhibition of Waste Stories from New College Lanarkshire is on show at the University of Glasgow’s School of Education. Students on various Visual Art programmes at the college have created visual and sculptural works that tell their own waste stories. This exhibition added new works to those already shown at the Mitchell Library. We also held a special celebration event on Tuesday 27th August, 4.30-6pm.
23rd April – 4th May 2024 – An exhibition of Waste Stories from New College Lanarkshire was held at the Mitchell Library, Glasgow. Students on various Visual Art programmes at the college created visual and sculptural works telling their own waste stories.
March 2024 – We ran a Waste Stories workshop as part of a Galloways and South Ayrshire Biosphere event at Whithorn on Saturday 8th March.
October 2023 – Future Archaeologies of Marine Litter: a vision from Bute was at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow from Monday 2nd to Friday 13th October. We ran a special future archaeology-themed Waste Stories workshop at the library to accompany on Tuesday 3rd October.
The Solway Hoard was on show at the Devil’s Porridge Museum for two months from 2nd October 2023. We ran a special future archaeology-themed Waste Stories workshop at the Museum to accompany this on Thursday 19th October, 2-3.30pm.
Monday, 19th June – Friday, 23rd June – Future Archaeologies of Marine Litter exhibition at the University of Glasgow’s Advanced Research Centre. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
May-October 2023 – Future Archaeologies of Marine Litter Orkney exhibition was hosted at Stromness Museum. Future Archaeologies of Marine Litter Eigg was live on Eigg.
